Filming ourselves…

Sophie and Kristen’s great Aunty Irene shared some stories with us this morning about her experiences growing up in Donisthorpe –  war-time memories of bombs and bullets, harvest time as a land girl, and the creativity of the local parades.

Then we turned the tables and interviewed ourselves – asking the same questions we’d asked the older community members about what it was like to grow up here, favourite places, family connections to local industries and the slang language we use today – lol.
